On Lodge’s web site, their product description says “Pro Grid/Iron Griddle, Cooking Surface: 20″ x 10-7/16″ Depth: 7/8″, Reversible”. In fact, the usable cooking surface is only about 16.5″ x 8.5″ (due to the grease traps and handles). br /br /Amazon’s descriptions are better, but I guess I didn’t look close enough before ordering… It deserves 4 stars as it’s virtues are indeed as described by the many positive reviews.br /br /Like many, I’ve got a “pro style” range top and my search continues for a large griddle that will generously span two of the full-sized burners – about 24″ x 12″ would be good. I’ve no need for the reversable grill, and would really like the space allocated to the grill-side’s grease trap given back to the griddle surface.br /br /br /
