My 14 year old son has only had the backpack for a month but so far it is holding up very well. He started the school year with an Adidas backpack and it started tearing in the first month. So far we have no signs of holes or tearing and my son is very pleased with it and his only complaint is the straps he would have liked them to be more like the one on the Adidas bag.

I bought all 3 of my kids one of these backpacks. at first, I wasn’t sure about it cuz its mesh and for some reason, I thought only the front pocket was mesh – oh well. br /br /so far so good, its really durable and has held up well. theres not a whole lot of organizing pockets, etc. but it still holds quite a lot. br /br /my kids can stuff their snow gear in here no problem without it bursting to the seams. br /br /so, for me, its good. br /br /note – my kids are 5, 4 and 4 and it still works great for them.

I purchased the JanSport navy blue backpack for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. She is so elated about all the different compartments. There’s one for a 15″ laptop, though she puts her sweater in it and there’s one for an ipod and so many more. It’s also very durable and my daughter might get to use it again next school year. And the best part is it matches her school uniform (navy blue, light blue, and grey). This is the perfect backpack!!

I really like this backpack. I was replacing my old backpack that I have had since freshman year of high school. (I’m a junior in college now) I wanted something that could hold my books, had side pockets, and was cute. I’ve gotten several compliments on it about the color scheme. With nothing in it, the backpack is very light. Some backpacks are really heavy just by themselves. I really like the zipper at the top that is supposed to hold your ipod. I don’t really use it for that; I use it for my cell phone and it works great. I also like the front zipper pocket. It’s easy to get to things that I use often. The middle pocket has a velcro pocket in it and I find that useful for holding things I don’t want sitting in the bottom of my backpack. I like the side pocket on it too. It is large enough to hold my coffee thermos without it slipping out. I had a problem with it falling out with my old backpack because the side pockets were a little too small. This backpack won’t hold a laptop though. Don’t buy it for a laptop unless you have one of the really small ones and have a case for it. There’s no laptop pocket. Yup, overall, I really like this backpack.
