This bag is exactly what I was expecting from a Jansport bag, having owned several over the years, except I wasn’t prepared for the new straps. For the first few days I owned the bag I was pretty sure that they would ruin it for me. They were super-stiff and really dug into a very uncomfortable spot on my shoulder. I was sore there for the first few days I used the bag. At some point either I adapted or the straps did, or both, because now I think it is probably the most comfortable pack I’ve ever had.
