First of all I am a big fan of Jansport. I had one for forever and it finally bit the dust, and hard. I had already patched it a few times, but once there isn’t a zipper one must move on. This backpack was exactly what I expected. Its light, so if you have had the pleasure of carrying a heavy bag (when empty) for a while then you will appreciate this. Its already starting to conform. I don’t like the super stiff bags I want them to be squishable and this one is. I didn’t know about the shoulder pads at first but I’m a fan now. They are nice and displace the weight pretty well. Overall I’m a fan and would highly recommend this for anyone.

My 14 year old son has only had the backpack for a month but so far it is holding up very well. He started the school year with an Adidas backpack and it started tearing in the first month. So far we have no signs of holes or tearing and my son is very pleased with it and his only complaint is the straps he would have liked them to be more like the one on the Adidas bag.

This is a sturdy backpack and good for the price. I’ve always thought JanSport had the best backpacks and this one doesn’t disappoint. I wanted something attractive that wasn’t too flashy. I’m a law student and I carry around ridiculously heavy books, so in addition I needed something sturdy. This backpack does not disappoint. It holds up very well. br /br /It has two main zipper parts. The first one is the “main large one,” where I put all of my books. The second one is smaller, and has a pocket to put your cell phone as well as another place to put pencils or anything else. I usually also put my lunch in this part, or something smaller than a regular textbook or notebook. br /br /There is also a very small little pocket at the top near the top handle. It also zips up and I use this to put my car keys and my sunglasses in. You could also probably put an iPod or something else up there. br /br /I gave this four stars instead of five only because I wish there was a smaller zipper pocket on the front of the bag. My other JanSport bag had more smaller compartments and I do miss that. All in all, however, I love the style of this bag and the color, so this is a great bag for the price.

I really like this backpack. I was replacing my old backpack that I have had since freshman year of high school. (I’m a junior in college now) I wanted something that could hold my books, had side pockets, and was cute. I’ve gotten several compliments on it about the color scheme. With nothing in it, the backpack is very light. Some backpacks are really heavy just by themselves. I really like the zipper at the top that is supposed to hold your ipod. I don’t really use it for that; I use it for my cell phone and it works great. I also like the front zipper pocket. It’s easy to get to things that I use often. The middle pocket has a velcro pocket in it and I find that useful for holding things I don’t want sitting in the bottom of my backpack. I like the side pocket on it too. It is large enough to hold my coffee thermos without it slipping out. I had a problem with it falling out with my old backpack because the side pockets were a little too small. This backpack won’t hold a laptop though. Don’t buy it for a laptop unless you have one of the really small ones and have a case for it. There’s no laptop pocket. Yup, overall, I really like this backpack.

Bought this bag after a bit of searching in Amazon. I was looking for something to carry my 15″ ThinkPad, along with books and my thermos to college everyday. I have a fifteen minute walk (one way) and this bag feels great on the shoulders. Accessible tiny compartments in the front pouch ensure that your rummaging-about-for-your-keys days are over!I bought the blue ridge though I’d suggest the black looks the best.I raved about this bag so much that two of my friends have bought it and they love it too. Finally the price is great and the bag is functional. I hope to carry it when I travel too. I have a 400D Digital Rebel ad I chose this bag because another reviewer said she could fit in two SLRs and a laptop and other stuff! I rated this with 5 stars!
