I bought a total of three of these watches from amazon and none of them tick but they still keep time. I bought the invicta watch because it is big, heavy and it makes a statement. However, Amazon does offer a free five year warranty upgrade through invicta so you will have an opportunity to send it back (40 dollar mandatory shipping fee) and get it repaired. All in all I’m a satisfied customer because I can get a 600+ dollar watch for under 100.br /br /Aaron

This is my second Invicta watch, the first being an automatic Submariner look-alike. a real beauty of a watch. The detailing, heft, attention to detail, and beauty of this Speedway Chronograph are all first-class — a brilliant timepiece! The band is solid and strong, the sapphire crystal is gorgeous, the hand-tooling on the face is subtle, the chronograph works flawlessly. In overall feel and look it appears to be a much more expensive watch than it is.br /br /Invicta takes seriously the idea of a great watch at a good price. It’s a stunning piece, and I feel lucky it’s not more expensive than it is. I get many compliments on it, especially at the race track where I use the chronograph quite often.

This watch is more attractive than it appears in the photos. The combination of polished and brushed black with the rose gold colored bezel is very striking. Build quality is very good. I know Invicta doesn’t have the best reputation for quality or customer service, but fortunately I have not had any issues.br /br /If this watch continues to be as accurate as it has been for the last month, it will be the most accurate quartz watch I own–not counting atomic watches. (It is less than 1 second off in 30 days.)br /br /I would not hesitate to recommend this watch.

I own over a dozen timepieces that include Seiko, Bulova, Citizen, and Invicta. I own no less than 5 Invictas and they all have performed flawlessly. While I agree with the common thought that the manufactured suggested retail price of Invictas is someone inflated the prices found on Amazon for these watches are well below this and the timepieces are well worth the greatly reduced price. One thing for sure, Invicta watches look like they would cost well above the MSRP and therefore you you get one and wear it you will be well pleased. The Invicta Speedway Collection and specifically this watch, the 9329 compares in looks with the Rolex Daytona that goes for 8K to 11K.br /br /One of the other reviewers stated he could not pull out the stem to set the watch. The stem and the pushers on these speedway additions are of a screw down type. In short, the stem and pushers are screwed down into the bezel for water proofing. To operate the stem and pushers you must first un-screw (turn counter clockwise) the stem or pusher away from the bezel and then you may pull the stem for setting the time or push the pushers to operate the other dials (called complications). This may sound complicated, but it is not.br /br /This watch is made with solid stainless steel with a combination of brushed and highly polished parts. The contrast between the two looks great. On this watch the face is a very unusual and very handsome tone of blue. The best way for me to describe it is to say it is very close to the blue tone of police emergency lights. The looks of the watch design, bracelet, and the wonderful blue is what made this watch one of my favorites right out of the box. Please see the picture I posted on the product page under customer image.br /br /The watch has a sweep second hand but it also has a small dial (complication) that is also a second hand and therefore this is redundant. The other two complication dials are minute and hour. Using the pushers you could use this watch as a stop watch but only to the second. The Rolex Daytona however does not have a redundant dial and you can use this watch as a true stop watch. But again, you will be paying thousands of dollars for that watch and less than 0 for the invicta. Basically, the extra complications on the invicta do function correctly but they are for looks. And again, looks this watch has!br /br /The face is covered by a sapphire crystal that is very clear and stands up to wear being very scratch resistant. The product Invicta uses to illuminate the hands in the dark is very good but not the quality you find on watches like Seiko.br /br /The only reason I do not give this watch 5 stars is the redundancy of the second complication and the hands do not illuminate as long as I would prefer. However, the scale here does not allow me to pick 4.5 stars which I would if I could.br /br /I get compliments on this watch every time I put it on. I have been asked by more than one if it is a Rolex. I highly recommend this watch for oneself or as a gift. Again, the picture of it on the page including the image I posted falls short in giving this watch justice. At this writing amazon sells this watch with free shipping for less than ?130 and this watch at that price is a bargain! If you do elect the free shipping be prepared for it to take about two weeks to get to you. Amazon did not even ship my watch for about 4 days after I ordered it but for free shipping I could not complain.

The Invicta Speedway 9211 has all the looks of the Rolex Daytona for ,900 less and instant availability. There are a few features that are lacking however, which detracts from the overall score.br /The watch has a mineral glass crystal which isn’t as scratch resistant as sapphire. I haven’t had a problem yet, but I’ve been careful while wearing this watch. The 9211 is also powered by a no-name japanese quartz movement, I would much prefer to see an automatic movement powering this one, but for cost concerns the quartz works just fine.br /My third complaint is that the steel used from the polished portions is soft and thus scratches very easily. I didn’t think that it would be as bad as everyone made it out to be, but it really is and then some. The softness also should make them easy to polish out, but that’s a bit of a PITA that really isn’t necessary.br /Overal, the watch keeps good time and has drop-dead good looks, and is a screaming value at . This watch could easily sell for twice that and still be a good buy.

Well, I guess I’m reviewing my broken watch and giving it 5 stars? Why you ask? I bought it in 2001, the movement finally seized in it and it’s 2009…I’ve worn the watch everyday, and it kept great time until it’s recent end…banged around more then once. I mean for 0 what more can you ask for? The lettering on the tachometer began to wear off after the first 4 years or so and the clasp came loose every couple of years then but the jeweler fixed it for a few bucks. br /br /Anyways I guess I’m going to try a different style of watch, but it will certainly be an Invicta.
