Constructed with a black ion-plated stainless steel case, the timepiece includes a black ion-plated stainless steel tachymeter bezel and a black ion-plated stainless steel link bracelet that’s secured with a fold-over safety clasp. A scratch-resistant sapphire window shields the white dial, which features luminous hour markers, slim minute indexes, and a date calendar at the four o’clock position. The dial also includes three black ion-plated chronograph subdials with 60-second, 30-minute, and 12-hour subdials, as well as complementing watch hands. This is my second Invicta watch, the first being an automatic Submariner look-alike. a real beauty of a watch. The detailing, heft, attention to detail, and beauty of this Speedway Chronograph are all first-class — a brilliant timepiece! The band is solid and strong, the sapphire crystal is gorgeous, the hand-tooling on the face is subtle, the chronograph works flawlessly. In overall feel and look it appears to be a much more expensive watch than it is.br /br /Invicta takes seriously the idea of a great watch at a good price. It’s a stunning piece, and I feel lucky it’s not more expensive than it is. I get many compliments on it, especially at the race track where I use the chronograph quite often.
