This is my favorite model – period. It has great detail and is at a reasonable price. Tamiya has been around for years and is really the benchmark to which other plastic models are compared. I made an 88mm Flak Gun when I was a teenager in the 70’s and it was awesome. I am now getting back into modeling after being away many years and can’t wait to do another one of these. However, it is a bit more challenging than some of the other armor Tamiya models, so I would not try this one until I built up my proficiency (it has many very small detailed parts), but it is definitely worth working up to as a goal. In other words, this should not be the first model you try to build. It works wonderfully as a stand alone piece in a diorama or can be combined in armor battle scenes or with aircraft as this gun was often used as a anti-aircraft gun as well.
