this gun is a little junky but looks awesome. the sparks when you pull the trigger works great. it does make a ridiculously loud cranking noise when you pull the trigger, though. having to hear the noisy racket makes you not want to see the internal sparks. i bought this b/c i was leela from futurama one halloween and it was the *perfect* costume accessory…had it not broken that same night, i could have used it for some other costume. i’d recommend it for something short-term. definitely not if you intend to actually use it as a toy for a kid.
