If you are a complete novice camper, this is a great tent to buy ! I am sure it is a great tent even if you are not a complete novice – as it is very easy to use, and is very sturdy. I have never, ever, camped before, so bought this tent to start doing so. This is very easy to assemble. It took me a little while to figure out how the rainfly goes on top. I assembled it in 30 minutes the first time around. The instructions ask for 2 people – however, one person can do it on his/her own. Taking it down took 10 minutes. I am sure that I can now assemble it again in less than 15 minutes. You will have to buy a cushion for the floor – to make it comfortable to sleep in. I would not recommend this tent if the night time temp drops below 70 or so – it does get cold inside….best to get a tent designed for colder temps. A great buy.
